Robitussin Extra Strength Cough Control Syrup includes an expectorant that loosens mucus and phlegm buildup to help you feel better through the day and night. Designed for adults and children 12 years and older, take one dose of Robitussin Extra Strength Cough Control Syrup every 6 hours or as directed by a doctor (maximum of 4 doses per day). A single dose is 2 teaspoons (10 mL). One teaspoon (5 mL) of alcohol-free Robitussin Extra Strength Cough Control Syrup contains: 15 mg Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide cough suppressant; 200 mg Guaifenesin expectorant.
